When I read Dale Carnegie’s book, I was amazed how he hired Charles Schwab for $1 million a year over a hundred years ago to run a steel company that he knew very little about.
Why would he do such a thing?
Because he knew how to manage and work through people.
So think about it.
What is important in business? If Dale Carnegie saw the potential and value of investing in someone to manage his steel company not for their skill in making steel, but for their skill of managing people and relationships…do you think relationships might be worth looking at for yourself?
Take the time to build relationships with your team and your patients. Success is built on relationships!
Ask the person who has a relationship, a friendship, or connection with a dentist…do they question the offerings of the dentist? No. Actually, trust builds when a dentist and patient have a great relationship. This trust makes the patient confident enough to ask “What do you recommend, Doctor?”
