Have you ever thought about what is available to you?
Let us consider the sun. Do we take for granted that each day we will see it in the morning as we rise and with us throughout the day until we watch it disappear in the evening? Do we assume without thought that it will be there again tomorrow? When you look up into a cloudy sky do you think about how bright it is on the other side of the clouds? When it is nighttime, do you consider how the sun is still there shining brightly on other parts of our enormous world?
Most of us view what is available to us with a limited perspective. Often we react to what is present without thinking about what is not readily visible or factual.
I want to challenge us to change our thinking: to see the unseen, hear the unheard, and make a difference to those who cannot see or haven’t been given the opportunity.
We have been so richly blessed, and I encourage each of us to reach out uniquely on how we have been created and to share what we have so richly been given.
