Simple Winning Trait
A friend of mine shared something the other day that reminded me of an important winning character trait.
So often we speak before we fully listen, which often creates poor assumptions. If we speak without fully listening, we may give the impression that; we simply do not care, that we are not listening, or that we believe we are above the speaker.
Instead try to L.E.A.D.
L. Listen. Listen intently to the person speaking.
E. Envision. Repeat what you heard and work to truly understand what is being said. What are they trying to convey?
A. Apply the vision. Share with the speaker what you heard. Then envision, visualize, or see the outcome in your minds eye.
D. Design. Now apply what you have heard.
Once you have done the above 4 actions, you will h ave a successful and profitable outcome.
Become a powerful partner with your patients, staff, significant others, children, and to whomever you want to succeed… L.E.A.D. by being an example.
For you will succeed through their success. You will both win.
