Growing or Decaying
It is said that if we are not moving forward and growing, we are in decay. Do you believe that? I do. I see daily and weekly evidences of what happens when I do not work to keep up with what is happening, the new trends, the latest, the state of the art… But all with cautious evaluation, applying only that which benefits us and those we serve.
Technology continues to take leaps and bounds in dentistry. It is nearly impossible to keep up with it all. The thing that dentists have in their favor is a vast free resource called equipment specialists. These specialists get weeks of training each year on what is changing, why, the pros, the cons, options, alternatives, and so on… in every facet of dental needs.
Horizon of Dentistry
Now is the time to look at; one hour crowns, cone beam and similar technology, paperless dentistry, being a digital office, one trip implants, cloud based software, digital scanners, etc.
If you have not taken the time to see what is available, maybe it is time to broaden your horizons, see what you are missing, see the advances, see what will save you time and make you money, understand what is becoming the new norm, and understand what investment will serve you and your patients best now and in the years to come!
